These days, the new system on what employers exactly prefer to hire a candidate highly is to see a candidate’s knowledge in relation to his or her career. Academic is a good reference to be potential but the job experience appropriate to candidate’s career choice is a better reference. Of course, due to increasing competition in the business industry, this has been the cause why employers on the other hand are rather hiring those who have better actual work capabilities compare to someone who only possess good grades. The real world experiences or to work abroad is the most valuable key to win one’s career accomplishment.

And the brilliant way to gain helpful job experience while studying is through internship in any countries around the world. Wherever you may like to have a preference, it is your choice to choose and it is your choice to how make things triumphant. Additionally, given that you are traveling abroad for internship, this actually doesn’t count on how you obtain the experience, whether you work for paid purposes or by charity; this basically means that just make sure that you learn and value everything during your internship.

South Africa is one example of the many internship destination wherein lots of opportunities for interns to contain.
Internship abroad offers a variety of experience for everyone to savor. One child can really make a difference. Find out how he manages to talk when he is mute. Miguel I named him so that I can easily remember the beautiful and twinkling eyes that stares at me with fascination.

I only came for a short internship in a village in Uganda. Short! I never intended to make it a long term commitment to make sure that the kids will have unending foreign intern to follow up on the lessons that I had started. I for one knew that I will never stay for long if I intend to help them in the long run. So, I settled for a summer internship.

That is where I met Miguel. At first I never knew that Miguel is mute. He plays and laughs like the other kids. He opens his mouth when I instruct them to follow me to make a letter sound. He looks like a kid with normal talking skills. How would a teacher know who spends only an hour with a 75 school children to teach?

Then I decided to make my teaching internship a notch higher than the required dedication. So intend to individually assess the children so that I can leave the assessment for the next intern. My mind is already working for ways to get in touch with the administrator and the agency so that there would be an unending support of foreigners that would teach the children. Internship careers really just came at the right time.

The start of the assessment is the doorway for me to know that Miguel is mute but not deaf, thanks God. That also opens so many opportunities for me to make lessons befitting a mute student. Miguel to my surprise can not talk but he has expressions far more communicative that words. Now I know why his classmates treat him as a equal for he can talk not in word but in expressions.
