I am a graduate of Bachelor of Science in Accountancy with flying honors. It was tough, I got to admit. I missed so many travels abroad with my classmates for I got to catch up and be on top of almost everything I do. They went to Thailand for a study in culture for our sociology subject while I went to a far flung place in our city to get the data. They went to enjoy Bangkok shopping and slept in one of the Five Start Hotel; they went to bask in the glory of Samut Sakorn, Ratchaburi, Prachuab Khiri Khan, Samut Songkram, Chachoengsao, Phetchaburi, and Sa Kaeo.
It was in our third year in college that the opportunity knocks so loudly on my door that all of my friends were gleefully jumping up and down, hugging and congratulating me before I even know why. I was a candidate then for the highest awards in college and I was chosen for an international internship for Europe. Guess where?
France, Germany, Spain. Yes. I spent two months each in these countries for my international internship. I packed my bag after a year’s preparation and interviews and visa preparation with the envy of my classmates. The burning of midnight candles and the missing of some nightlife and travel with friends indeed paid off with a big bang.
France. The country is beautifully cared by history and time. I visited the ‘City of Lights and the Grand’ Place, Cote d’ Azur, Loire Valley Castle and tasted wines and cheeses while gazing at the busy Paris street.
Germany. I this country Berlin enticed my heart. I had a great time gazing at their architecture and also took time to taste Berlin’s nightlife. No other city best described and portrayed its history.
Spain. The country of sunshine! I never experienced such glamour in sun bathing and beach combing only here in this country. A beautiful masterpiece of nature; Sagrada Familia is beautiful in pictures but it is magnificent in person.
International Internship opened opportunities for me.
