California State

I was so envious of San Diego State University (SDSU) in California. For three successive year they rank 2nd for having the most number of student who went abroad to study or for internship. An incredible 1,624 students from SDSU went abroad for the school year 2006-2007.

The gates for such great opportunities were opened when Nancy Marlin’s whom her beliefs on the power of studying abroad made changes to the curriculum when she became provost. So under her tutelage 15 college majors are compelled to study abroad and that is over 60 percent of the total SDSU students who enrolled for the year 2006 to 2007.

International Security, conflict resolution, international business and the Honors Program of the University are just few of those courses or program which requires study abroad or international internship abroad. Scholars without Borders also originated in the campus of SDSU.

California in United States is referred to as the Gold State if not for its gold then for SDSU. It has a plethora of places to visit and attractions both for kids and adults. It ranks third in terms of its size and it has the largest population.

Disneyland, Hills of San Francisco, Hollywood and Napa Valley are just one of the many must-see places in California.

Not to count the world-known Lake Tahoe this is located where California and Nevada meet. The beaches which dazzled the people in the television show Baywatch. Person with a strong steak for adventure won’t be sorry when they visit California borders with headlands, beaches, bluffs, coves and bays that can also pass through wilderness.

Besides the thrill of Hollywood, art, fashion and music; extreme sports like skydiving, Bungee Jumping Rock Climbing and Kite boarding are also engaged in by locals and tourist in California.

Either to visit or study in California; indeed it is simply perfect for travel destinations.
